About the Role:

The People Operations Specialist role is a vital role within our growing People Team at Collective.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for creating an exceptional employee experience and tinkering with processes to make them seamless and harmonious.

This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in HR operations, process improvement, and a deep understanding of the HR Suite of systems (We use BambooHR, Greenhouse, TriNet and more). The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing best practices, driving efficiency, and supporting the overall People strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • HR Process Management: Oversee and streamline HR processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • HRIS Management: Manage the HR information system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to identify trends, generate insights, and make recommendations to enhance our practices and philosophies
  • Compliance: Stay abreast of HR laws and regulations, ensuring policies and procedures are compliant with local and national requirements.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Develop and optimize onboarding and offboarding processes to enhance the employee experience.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Stakeholders in the Talent, Legal, Finance, IT Teams to ensure cohesive employee experience across the entire lifecycle
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve our workflows, automations and employee initiatives
  • Culture Champion: Take part in making our remote workplace even more conducive to collaboration, fun and connection

What we want you to bring:

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in People Operations, ideally with some experience managing HR projects and systems.
  • Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a global, early stage startup desired
  • In depth knowledge of general HR policies and procedures.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with payroll and PEO/HRIS software, 401k and equity platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret HR metrics to support business objectives.
  • Self-driven, organized with a solutions-minded outlook.
  • Passionate about continually tinkering to make the overall process and experience better for all employees.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying updated on industry trends.

What we offer in return:

Compensation Range: $90,000 -$100,000 USD annual base salary.
