Senior Product Designer

Full-Time · 4–6 Years Experience · Enterprise SaaS / Fintech Preferred

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who can own complex design problems from the ground up, align stakeholders, and raise the bar for the entire design function. You've been around long enough to know that great design is as much about clarity of thinking and communication as it is about craft. You don't need direction to get started, and you don't leave ambiguity unresolved.

What You'll Do

Lead end-to-end design for complex product areas, from discovery through dev handoff, with no handholding required

Drive discovery independently: plan and run user research, stakeholder interviews, and competitive analysis

Define problem statements, user journeys, and UX strategy before touching Figma

Align stakeholders across product, engineering, and business on design direction, and navigate pushback with confidence

Own the quality of your work. You raise the bar yourself, not because someone asked you to

Deliver thorough, dev-ready Figma handoffs with specs, edge cases, and component documentation

Contribute to and evolve the design system

Mentor junior designers through feedback, critique, and pairing on their work

Represent design in cross-functional discussions and bring a clear point of view to the table

What We're Looking For

4–6 years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or fintech

A portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end ownership and design thinking, not just polished UI

Proven ability to work through ambiguity independently. You break down hard problems and move forward without waiting for clarity to land in your lap

Strong stakeholder communication. You can present design rationale, handle disagreement, and build alignment across functions

Defaults to action. You move with 70% clarity rather than waiting for perfect information

Excellent Figma skills including components, auto-layout, variants, and prototyping

Understands front-end fundamentals well enough to have real conversations with engineers

Curious about products to the point of obsession. You have opinions, you notice details, and you explore products unprompted

Treats AI as a force multiplier in your workflow, not just a shortcut

Nice to Have

Experience designing data-heavy interfaces: dashboards, tables, analytics

Familiarity with fintech domains (payments, accounting)

Experience mentoring or reviewing work of junior designers

Has built or significantly contributed to a design system

Uses custom AI workflows or prompts to improve design output quality, not just speed
