About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to manage and grow
our partner ecosystem. This role focuses on building strong relationships with channel partners who can regularly
refer businesses to us and help drive consistent growth.
Our key partner categories include:
• Chartered Accountants (CAs)
• Tally Channel Partners
• Zoho Books Channel Partners
• Consultants and Business Advisors
As an SDR – Partnerships, you will be responsible for identifying new partners, nurturing existing relationships,
generating business referrals, assisting with onboarding and activation of referred businesses, and ensuring timely partner payouts.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Acquisition & Relationship Management
• Identify and onboard new channel partners across target categories
• Build long-term relationships with existing partners
• Conduct regular follow-ups and engagement calls with partners
• Maintain an active pipeline of potential referral partners
Business Referral Management
• Collect and track business referrals from partners
• Coordinate with referred businesses and assist in the activation process
• Ensure smooth communication between partners, prospects, and internal teams
• Follow up consistently to maximize referral conversions
Partner Operations
• Maintain proper records of referrals, conversions, and payouts
• Coordinate timely release of partner commissions and payouts
• Resolve partner queries and ensure a smooth experience
• Share product updates, offers, and training material with partners when required
Sales & Growth
• Drive monthly referral and activation targets
• Develop strategies to increase partner engagement and repeat referrals
• Identify high-performing partners and expand relationships further.
Requirements
• 2-6 years of experience in sales, partnerships, business development, or channel sales
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable speaking with business owners, accountants, and software partners
• Ability to manage multiple follow-ups and partner relationships simultaneously
• Organized, self-driven, and target-oriented
• Experience with CRM tools is a plus
Preferred Background
Candidates with prior experience working with:
• Fintech or SaaS companies
• CA networks
• Tally ecosystem
• Zoho ecosystem
• B2B sales or channel partnerships
