Who We Are

Settle is on a mission to make buying inventory super easy. Since the company’s inception in 2019, we’ve been building a cashflow management platform that allows founders and small business owners to more easily manage their company’s financial health with a mix of accounts payable and flexible financing tools. We already work with some amazing brands that you probably know and love, like Branch Furniture, Olipop, Truvani, Starface, and Ghia.

Check us out in On Deck's Top Companies of 2023, Forbes' Next Billion-Dollar Startups, Techcrunch and this Kleiner blog post.

About the role:

We’re hiring a dynamic product manager to own onboarding, cross-sell and product-led growth at Settle. Your mission is two-fold:

  • Develop onboarding and upgrading for Settle’s business customers as frictionless as possible (while minimizing fraud risk and ensuring high levels of compliance).
  • Own and optimize Settle’s app store presence in Shopify, QBO, Xero to drive high quality inbound leads.

You’ll be paired with a focused engineering team to deliver on your mission, report into Settle’s Group PM and work alongside Settle’s hard-working, fun-loving, customer-obsessed design, dev and product team members, helping us to take both our CPG brands and the company to new heights.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with Go-to-Market to define experiments to optimize the onboarding funnel and cross-sell motions and then collaborate with design and engineering to turn those experiments into reality.
  • Define KPIs to monitor progress, and work with Data and Engineering teams to automate reporting and dashboarding.
  • Monitor inbound leads from Settle’s App Store presences, update placement, copy, and reviews to increase lead volume, and identify new app functionality to drive incremental leads.
  • Manage relationships with Settle App Store partners to learn best practices and optimization strategies.
  • Connect regularly with our users to build a deep understanding of their needs.
  • Contribute to Settle’s product strategy as we expand our product offerings.

What You’ll Need:

  • 2+ years of product management experience, ideally within a product-led growth environment, focused on improving funnel conversion.
  • Skilled at developing strategy while also being hands-on with implementation details.
  • You don’t try to “boil the ocean,” always thinking of MVP and incremental benefits.
  • Strong communicator who cares about people and can build relationships and alignment.
  • Ability to be resourceful and thrive in dynamic, rapidly evolving environments.
  • Basic SQL knowledge—you don’t need to be a whiz!
  • Conversationally technical (an engineering degree is not required).

Nice to have:

  • Prior work in b2b SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, or payments.
  • Experience working or running an inventory business in a previous role.

Compensation:

This role has an annual starting salary range of $140,000 - $150,000 + equity + benefits. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to your individual skills and experience.

Benefits & perks that we offer:

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Competitive compensation and equity
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents
  • Lunch & commute reimbursement when working in the NYC office located near Union Square
