Joining our sales team, you'll be tasked with top-of-funnel lead generation and demand capture, guiding the sales cycle from the initial contact to assisting clients in making their first payment or requesting their first financing on our platform.
As an early sales hire, you'll also contribute to shaping our sales organization, establishing and improving processes, and helping to propel our next stage of rapid growth.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Create and manage outbound lead generation campaigns using email and social media to identify and qualify potential brand partners
- Utilize tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Similarweb, Apollo to build and enrich lead lists, craft outbound messaging, and report KPIs to the wider commercial organization
- Initiate sales conversations with Founders, CEOs, CFOs, and COOs at target e-commerce and CPG brands
- Develop a robust pipeline for Account Executives via email, phone, and LinkedIn communications
- Gain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Settle platform
What Sets You Apart
- Over a year's experience in a customer-focused or sales role, with experience selling to CFOs/CEOs and financial stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree (finance or accounting degrees are a bonus)
- You ruthlessly prioritize, never quit, and aren’t afraid to ship something before it’s perfect
- Self-starter with the ability to initiate prospecting, managing, and qualifying prospects
- Enthusiasm for fostering relationships and interpersonal interactions
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail
- An innate ability to prioritize ruthlessly, resilient perseverance, and the courage to strive for perfection
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, willing to wear multiple hats as needed
- A passion for the FinTech/Start-up space
- Affinity (or insatiable curiosity) for acquiring specialized knowledge around e-commerce and CPG brands
- A quantitative focus, commercial mindset, and experience working with datasets are a plus
Compensation
This role has an hourly pay plus incentive bonus for a total annual salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 + equity + benefits. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to your individual skills and experience.
