Your Role
We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Business Operations Associate with a passion for operations and food systems. In this versatile role, you’ll wear many hats—owning key administrative workflows, supporting business, supply, and sales operations—while developing a deep understanding of where our food comes from and how it moves through the supply chain. Your operational support will be key to enabling our team’s success across the business.

Your Responsibilities
Business Operations
Develop and maintain customer and supplier onboarding processes and paperwork
Maintain supplier/farm certifications (organic, food safety) and manage company certifications (e.g., CCOF, ROC), including annual inspections and recertification
Support food quality and safety initiatives (FSQA)
Become a superuser of our marketplace app and AI and provide actionable feedback to guide product improvements
Support basic accounting tasks
Lead administrative and organizational projects
Supply Chain / Sales Operations
Research and develop supply chains for different product categories (produce, proteins, grains, etc.)
Maintain and expand logistics and co-manufacturing partnerships (transportation, warehousing, and processing)
Help manage farm profiles, crop calendars, and pricing in our online marketplace app
Support customer accounts through order processing and coordination between customers, farmers, and logistics partners
Qualifications
2+ years’ experience in business operations, sales, account management, customer service, or related fields—ideally in food, farming, or ranching
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable (if not fearless) calling and emailing businesses and maintaining a rapid response time to push projects forward
Tech-savvy and quick to learn new software
Adaptable and able to prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
Comfortable multitasking and wearing many hats
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with organic compliance and food safety
Familiarity with farming, logistics, and manufacturing
Passion for improving our food system
This is a full-time, remote position within the U.S. Compensation is based on level and location, and includes base salary, equity, and benefits.
