We’ve just closed our Series A funding round, led by Unusual Ventures alongside Motive Ventures and Bain Capital Ventures.

This funding will allow us to accelerate product development and hiring. Helping us get one step closer to completing our mission of enabling businesses to scale smoothly without being hindered by complex, painful payments processes.

Monthly Management Accounts:

• Preparation of the monthly financial accounts to final stage for review by Head of Finance
• Expenses and Payroll:
• Ensuring accurate and timely approval of monthly payroll, while adhering to company and legal requirements regarding items like holiday pay and sick pay.
• Monitoring and review of monthly expense claims to ensure adherence to company guidelines

Accounts Payable:

• Processing and verifying supplier invoices
• Maintaining the Creditors Ledger.
• Conducting monthly creditors reconciliations.
• Addressing supplier inquiries.
• Handling both monthly supplier payment files and occasional weekly payments.

Accounts Receivable:

• Calculation of amounts due and issuing of invoices to customers
• Contacting customers for overdue invoicesBank:
• Weekly/monthly reconciliations as required by business

Fixed Assets:

• Ensure Fixed Asset Register is maintained and incorporated correctly in management accounts and financial statements
• Reports:
• Providing adhoc reports to the Head of Finance and CFO.

Audit

• Working closely with the Head of Finance to complete the annual audits in a timely manner

General:

• Undertaking ad-hoc projects as requested by the Head of Finance and CFO.
• Ability to develop, document and implement processes as the company scalesEnsuring the completion of all financial duties and following up on queries with departments.
• Striving for daily improvements in the efficiency of the accounts department.
• Cultivating an environment that boosts employee morale, fostering pride and commitment within the team.

To be successful you in this role you will;

• Newly Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant
• Professional qualification in accounting, such as an ACCA/CIMA/ACA or Accounting Technician, is preferred.
• Essential experience in a high-paced office setting.
• Experience in a regulated environment would be advantageous.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel.
• Effective multitasking abilities and a capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience with Netsuite preferable
