What are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented and experienced Product Designer to join our dynamic team at Nilus. As the sole designer, you will have a significant impact on our product, team, and overall company direction. This is a unique opportunity to shape the user experience and interface of our innovative cash management platform. You will work closely with our engineering, product, sales, and marketing teams to create intuitive tools that help finance teams excel.

What you will be doing

• Lead the design of our strategic cash management platform from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design requirements and create user-centric solutions.
• Balance speed and depth in design processes, knowing when to quickly iterate and when to delve deeply into complex problems.
• Design and prototype user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.
• Build and maintain elements of Nilus’s design system to facilitate efficient development
• Ensure consistency and coherence across all design elements and user experiences.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of our industry, customers, and stakeholders to proactively meet their diverse needs
• Continuously challenge and improve existing design concepts and paradigms
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our design standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product design
• Experience in fintech or data-oriented tools
• Experience collaborating closely with R&D and Product teams
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user.
• Deep understanding of user research, usability testing, and other UX principles
• Background in developing comprehensive design systems
• Ability to work in an office environment
