Job Description

We are looking to hire a skilled IT support engineer to help our internal team and end-users with all IT- related technical support issues. As an IT support engineer, you will interact with users to determine the nature of the problem, diagnose hardware or software issues, and provide effective assistance. You would also be required to install new software applications and train users on proper application use.

IT Support Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring user laptops/desktops/mobile devices
  • Responding to L1/L2 IT support requests
  • Interact with users to diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues
  • Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems. Conduct screen share sessions if required
  • Repairing hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking problems
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to engineering team
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as a IT support engineer
  • Knowledge of web services, API, and IP-based protocols
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
