Help us build a next-generation institutional trading platform using the latest web development technologies. We're still early enough that the impact you make will be massive. You'll get to help select the core tech that we work with and be instrumental in developing our engineering culture.
We currently run on typescript, react, and firebase.
About you:
3+ years professional experience, ideally with a focus on web software development
Tinker mindset: stays up to date on newer technologies and explores them every so often. Love a certain technology — great, pitch it to us and let's use it.
Product-minded: we don't have a formal product organization so you'll have to make frequent decisions around client-facing product. You may have to cut corners every now and then and should know when to make those tradeoffs!
You love typesafe languages. We can't predict exactly what our stack will look like a few years from now, but it's safe to bet it will be typesafe.
Fast: We have a lot to ship! We build features in a day and entire products in a week.
Experience with financial markets is a plus but certainly not a requirement.
