We provide the wallet, payroll engine, and compliance layer behind contractor payments, payroll, and Employer of Record (EOR) services, combining best-in-class payment rails with the tax and compliance infrastructure needed to pay workers compliantly in virtually any market. Leading global payroll providers, talent marketplaces, staffing companies, and EOR platforms rely on Cadana as the infrastructure behind their own client relationships.

Cadana is scaling quickly, and we're building out our team ahead of several major client and company announcements in the coming months.

THE ROLE

We're hiring a Global Payroll Manager to own the last-mile execution of payroll for Cadana's client book. This is a hands-on, operational role, not a sales or partnerships function. You'll be the person responsible for making sure every payroll cycle runs correctly and on time: inputs are prepared accurately, calendars are built and followed, funds are received and disbursed, and output files reach clients exactly when they're expected.

You'll become a genuine expert in the payroll flows for every country Cadana currently supports, and you'll be a client-facing point of contact when execution questions come up. Getting there requires learning quickly: the best people in this seat are resourceful self-educators who dig into the source material themselves; where needed, our in-country counsel and advisory networks are there to pressure-test your understanding and close the gaps. As you learn, you'll turn that knowledge into standards, playbooks, and an internal knowledge base, so that every pay cycle we run is correct and on time by design.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• Owning payroll accuracy end to end, from prepared inputs to payslips, reports, and compliance documentation delivered on schedule.
• Building and maintaining payroll calendars per country and per client, and holding the team and clients to them.
• Confirming client funds have been received on schedule and that all payments have gone out correctly and on time.
• Serving as the internal expert on payroll flow mechanics for each country Cadana operates in today.
• Acting as the client-facing point of contact for execution questions, catching discrepancies before they reach clients.
• Learning new markets fast: self-educating on each country's payroll statutes, backed by our in-country counsel and advisory networks.
• Creating the standards, playbooks, and internal knowledge base that make accuracy repeatable in every country.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 10+ years of hands-on experience executing last-mile payroll operations, not payroll strategy, consulting, or sales.
• Deep operating experience in a complex payroll regime such as Brazil, India, or Mexico: multi-fund social security, layered taxes, statutory funds, and real-time e-government reporting.
• Working knowledge of payroll flows across multiple countries; comfortable navigating the operational differences between markets.
• A resourceful self-educator who learns new payroll statutes quickly, verifying through our in-country counsel and advisory networks.
• A genuine interest in standards and playbooks: you'd rather build the checklist than be the hero who catches it twice.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; managing multiple calendars and deadlines while catching problems early.
• Strong client-facing communication skills; comfortable being the direct point of contact when execution issues arise.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, execution-heavy, fully remote environment, with strong working overlap with European client hours.

• Payroll cycles run on time and accurately, every time, across every supported country.
• Clients receive accurate, timely inputs and outputs without needing to chase status updates.
• Discrepancies are caught and resolved before they affect workers or clients.

• Standards, playbooks, and the knowledge base stay current, making accuracy repeatable rather than person-dependent.
