ABOUT CADANA

Cadana is the payments and payroll infrastructure powering how the world's largest workforce platforms hire and pay people globally. We provide the wallet, payroll engine, and compliance layer behind contractor payments, payroll services, and Employer of Record (EOR) services for tens of thousands of workers each month - combining best-in-class payment rails with the tax and compliance infrastructure needed to pay workers compliantly in virtually any market. Leading global payroll providers, talent marketplaces, staffing companies, and EOR platforms rely on Cadana as the infrastructure behind their payroll operations.

Cadana is scaling quickly, and we're building out the growth team ahead of several major client and company announcements in the coming months.

HOW GROWTH OPERATES AT CADANA

Growth at Cadana doesn't run like a traditional sales team. We operate on an ethos of consultative selling, and our job is to understand a client's compliance, operational, and technical needs deeply enough that we function as an extension of their team, not a vendor running them through a pitch-to-close process. That approach is what lets us build the level of trust we have with our clients today, and it's the model that we want to extend into our future.

Because of that, this is a highly cross-functional team. On any given day, Growth is coordinating with engineering, compliance, legal, and operations - reviewing KYB and compliance flows, working through contract redlines, verifying commercial terms, building client-specific deliverables - all while still owning revenue growth for their accounts. The work spans legal, regulatory, and technical domains simultaneously, and the team is expected to drive it to resolution directly rather than routing it elsewhere.

THE ROLE

The Growth Operations Lead will act as the “Chief of Staff” for a portfolio of Cadana client accounts. They are the person who owns the relationship end-to-end and can be trusted to navigate compliance, contractual, and technical questions. This is not a traditional sales or customer-support role. It's a hybrid of account ownership, project management, and operator: someone who can go deep on a client's compliance, contractual, and technical needs and drive them to resolution largely independently.

You'll work closely with the Head of Growth, with immediate visibility into new client launches, ramping accounts, and net-new pipeline.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Full ownership of a portfolio of key client accounts, acting as the single point of contact who can answer holistic questions across compliance, growth, and product.
  • New client launches: coordinating KYB and compliance flows, entity documentation, and go-live readiness across legal, compliance, and engineering.
  • Contract and legal coordination: reviewing counter-redlines and liability clauses alongside legal, and flagging commercial implications before they become blockers.
  • Account management for ramping clients: tracking commercials, resolving operational issues, and keeping accounts on a clean path to scale.
  • Cross-functional deliverables on demand: Plan of Action documents, compliance information packets, and localized platform materials as a client's needs evolve.
  • Net-new pipeline support: following up with prospective partners and helping move them through evaluation and onboarding.
  • Acting as an internal escalation point by partnering with legal, compliance, and engineering to resolve issues that don't fit a standard playbook.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • A demonstrated “A-player” track record - someone who has owned outcomes end-to-end, not just executed tasks.
  • 4–8 years of experience in account management, client operations, or growth roles, ideally in global payroll, payments, or fintech.
  • Comfort operating across legal, regulatory/compliance, and technical domains simultaneously; for example, this role will touch MSA redlines, KYB/compliance reviews, and payroll/API mechanics in the same week.
  • Strong written and verbal communication - able to build trust with clients and represent Cadana as a knowledgeable, reliable partner.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity - much of the work is manual, ad-hoc, and account-specific rather than governed by a fixed playbook.
  • Project-management instincts - able to juggle multiple concurrent client workstreams (launches, ramping accounts, pipeline) without dropping details.
