About AngelList:
We exist to accelerate innovation by increasing the number of successful startups in the world. We want to give more people the opportunity to participate in the venture economy by building the financial infrastructure that makes it possible for more people to invest in world changing startups, and build tools for startups that help them run their operations so they can focus on building.
AngelList is the nexus of venture capital and the startup community. We support over $171B+ assets on our platform, and we’ve driven capital to over 13,000 startups. 57% of top-tier U.S. VC deals involve investors on AngelList.
While our scale is large, our ambitions are even larger – we’re innovating on the financial infrastructure for venture investors and the startups they invest in. Come build with us.
About the Role:
As the Product Manager for our Funds business, your focus will be to grow invested capital volume by (1) launching new products designed for larger, more complex funds, and (2) raising the quality bar on our existing full-service fund administration products.
To do this, you’ll study the challenges of larger fund managers, use those insights to shape your growth strategy, and craft differentiated products that blend software and service to meet institutional standards. A key part of this opportunity is leveraging AI to turn accounting services into scalable software — building systems that will take us from $171B in assets on platform to trillions.
You’ll enjoy this role if you’re excited by complexity, motivated by scale, and passionate about building systems that underpin private markets and drive capital to entrepreneurs building our future.
Responsibilities:
- As the Product Manager for Fund Administration, your focus is to grow invested capital volume (ICV) by:
- Launching new, differentiated products that blend software, agents, and services to open up new markets
- Using AI to transform accounting services into software, changing the game for how institutional-grade services are delivered
- Leading execution for AngelList’s fund accounting systems, with ownership over ledger integrity, capital account maintenance, and downstream reporting
- Writing detailed product requirements that distill very complex concepts into directives the team understands and can execute on
- Owning the entire customer experience — from how products are positioned, sold, and implemented to how they are supported and scaled
You might be a good fit if you:
- Have 5+ years of experience in product management, with demonstrated ownership of complex fintech, fund accounting, or B2B SaaS systems
- Want to be a pioneer — building products that take us to the future, not just better versions of the past
- Have experience building or enhancing financial systems such as general ledgers, capital call/distribution engines, or investor accounting workflows
- Are a systems thinker with strong technical fluency: comfortable collaborating with engineers on architectural decisions, API designs, and data models
- Show strong customer empathy and communication skills — able to translate complex operational needs into intuitive, elegant product experiences
- Bring a deep understanding of private markets, including venture capital or private equity fund mechanics
If you don’t tick every box above, we’d still encourage you to apply. We’re building a diverse team whose skills balance and complement one another.
AngelList has offices in two hub cities: San Francisco and New York City that you can choose to work from. We’re focused on hiring within these hubs and people hired from these hub offices are expected to come into the office twice per week (Tuesdays and choice between Wednesday or Thursday).
