About AngelList:
We exist to accelerate innovation by increasing the number of successful startups in the world. We want to give more people the opportunity to participate in the venture economy by building the financial infrastructure that makes it possible for more people to invest in world changing startups, and build tools for startups that help them run their operations so they can focus on building.
AngelList is the nexus of venture capital and the startup community. We support over $124B+ assets on our platform, and we’ve driven capital to over 12,000 startups, almost 282 of which are unicorns. 57% of top-tier U.S. VC deals involve investors on AngelList.
While our scale is large, our ambitions are even larger – we’re innovating on the financial infrastructure for venture investors and the startups they invest in. Come build with us.
About the Role:
AngelList’s newest team is hiring Senior Product Engineers to build our Investor Management suite: https://www.angellist.com/info/investor-management. We’re forming this team in our San Francisco HQ to solve hard problems together with other thought partners.
At AngelList, we pride ourselves on having an outsized impact on the venture capital industry. Learn what we accomplished last year with an <50-person EPD team: https://www.angellist.com/2023. Teams are explicitly small and built on high-autonomy, ownership, collaboration, and mutual respect.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Build the foundational products that redefine how venture capital firms manage their funds.
  • Solve hard problems at scale. Where others throw people at the problem, we leverage software.
  • Talk to our users and creatively solve for their needs – building software, seamless integrations, or some other innovative solution.
  • Work with other highly talented and collaborative colleagues to grow personally and professionally.
  • Own entire product features end to end, i.e. the full stack.

You are most likely:

  • A full-stack engineer with 5+ years of experience building web applications at scale.
  • A product-minded engineer who can problem solve independently with structured and clear communication.
  • Experienced at writing clean, scalable code in one or more scripting languages. This team currently uses TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and NodeJS, though many engineers have joined with proficiency in other languages and libraries.
  • Excited to move fast, prioritize, and constantly make critical product decisions.
  • Thrive in an environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
  • Have a deep love of startups, having worked in at least one! You may have even founded one yourself or hope to start a company in the future.
  • We have more great opportunities on other teams, so please just apply to one open role. The team will consider you for all open roles that could be a fit!
If you don’t tick every box above, we’d still encourage you to apply. We’re building a diverse team whose skills balance and complement one another.
This is a HYBRID ROLE located in our San Francisco office. Expectations for this role will be that you are working in the SAN FRANCISCO office 2 days a week, on a flexible schedule. (This is not a 100% remote role)
