About the Role:
Your role will be to streamline the administration process for funds on AngelList’s platform. You will have to consider the experience of a General Partner from end-to-end; everything from the formation to the closing of the fund: a ten year lifecycle.
You will collaborate with your product and engineering team to shape the future of the fund management product alongside several other designers. You will be reporting into our Product Design Lead.
You will:
- Help identify areas of opportunity in the fund lifecycle to inform product strategy and roadmaps
- Work with the product design lead closely and provide feedback to other designers to improve their work
- Help guide the vision of the product and achieve it through research synthesis and design explorations
- Know when to bypass minor UX testing and lean on your expertise, but also when to propose initiatives to fill in the gaps
- Use existing design systems and standards and work to improve these systems and standards when necessary
- Take on complicated projects which overlap with several product areas and seek the information required to fill in any missing gaps
You are:
- Excited by system-levels product work
- Someone who has at least 5 years of relevant design experience
- Comfortable being a primary contributor to high impact projects

AngelList has offices in three hub cities: San Francisco, Seattle, and New York City that you can choose to work from. We’re focused on hiring within these hubs and people within 1 hour travel distance of the hub offices are expected to come into the office twice per week. From time to time, we will make rare exceptions for new hires if they need to be fully remote.
