Compliance Oversight Analyst

We are looking for someone to join the Compliance Oversight Team. This position will be responsible for performing second-line compliance monitoring and testing activities, as well as, supporting other second-line compliance oversight activies. This is an individual contributor role with the opportunity to assist with general second-line compliance oversight activities including updating and performing compliance risk assessments, coordinating and managing external audits and reviews. The position reports to the Director of Compliance Oversight.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in:
Subject matter experience with deposit regulations such as: Regulation E, Regulation DD, Regulation CC, UDAAP & FDIC Marketing Rules.
Performance of compliance audits, transactional testing (specifically, Regulation E), and drafting reports.
Performance of compliance risk assessments and gap analysis.

The position is based in New York, NY or Washington, D.C. but we are open to exploring remote work with outstanding candidates.
Executing and reporting on compliance testing for both deposit and lending products according to the approved monitoring and testing schedule.
Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the completion of action plans for issues identified in monitoring activities. Maintain proficient knowledge of consumer protection rules and regulations and their impact on products, services, and operations for a variety of deposit and credit products.
Assist in responding to external compliance audits and reviews.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
3-4 years combined experience in Bank Consumer Regulatory Compliance, Audit, or Risk Management.
Experience across fintech, Banking as a Service, and traditional financial institutions.
Proven expertise with consumer protection regulations and laws and the internal controls needed to mitigate those risks. Experience in both lending and deposits regulations required.
Experience performing audits, transactional testing, and drafting reports.
Experience in performing compliance risk assessments.
BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred
The base salary for this role is expected to be $80,000 - $100,000 per year. In addition, employees at Unit can expect generous benefits and may be eligible for equity and/or variable compensation. The final offer will be determined by factors including experience level, expertise, and geographic location.
