Job Description
What does it entail
● Autonomous P&L head of the business.
● Responsible for aligning all core metrics, initiatives & decisions to achieve profitability.
● Responsible for co-defining the business + product strategy & own its execution.
● Maintain & grow lender & distribution partnerships by selling indiagold value proposition to partner's C-suite.
● Decide consumer product constructs & commercial deals with all partners to ensure indiagold gets the right financial upside.
● Drive an apex customer experience across touchpoints ensuring indiagold is a trusted consumer brand.
● Plan & execute geographic expansion where needed.
● Drive heterogeneity & predictability of demand pipeline by devising & implementing the right sales strategy.
● Stay on top of competitive landscape & products & devise quick response to changing market/customer conditions/expectations through product/tech/ops roadmap.
● Keep tabs on the regulatory environment & advise on product/process/policy changes needed to stay compliant.
Requirements
Who is this person
● Ownership mindset, ambitious with a strong bias for action.
● Analytical & numbers driven with inherently a solutioning mindset.
● Comfortable with an evolving business environment that at times yields high-pressure situations.
● 8 - 12 years of total experience with direct exposure and/or deep understanding of lending - preferably retail.
● Demonstrated track record of executing growth, transformation & profitability in financial services or B2C space.
● Understands and/or has prior experience on how to scale a business non-linearly.
● Knows how to identify non-obvious distribution opportunities via partnerships.
● Experience as part of a fund-raise and/or NBFC application process is a good to have.
● A result oriented professional with the ability to nurture & lead high performing teams and work in complex cross-functional environments.
● Consulting background and/or start-up experience as a founder or part of core founding team is preferred.
● Post-grad (MBA/PGDBM) from a tier-1 college is must.
