Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead our sales training mandate. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving a sales mindset, providing effective product and process training, creating training modules ,identifying training needs and ultimately improving the sales performance of individuals. While the initial role is an individual contributor (IC), there is potential for the candidate to grow into a team management with a team under their guidance. Support will be provided based on training requirements.


Role Responsibilities:

Sales Mindset Development:
• Instill a strong sales mindset among field sales representatives to enhance their confidence and motivation.
• Conduct regular workshops and training sessions focused on sales techniques, customer engagement, and objection handling.
• Design and create sales training content.

Product and Process Training:
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on products, services, and sales processes.
• Ensure that the sales team is well-versed in the features and benefits of our offerings.
Individual Coaching:
• Provide one-on-one and group coaching to our city sales team, addressing specific needs and challenges.
• Identify areas of improvement and tailor coaching sessions to enhance individual and team performance.
Performance Metrics:
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) directly linked to sales performance.
• Regularly assess and report on the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting strategies as needed.
Feedback and Improvement:
• Gather feedback from sales representatives and management to continually enhance training programs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into training initiatives.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with the sales leadership team to align training programs with organizational goals and objectives.
• Foster a collaborative environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.


Requirements

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in field sales and/or sales training, with a demonstrable record of improving individual and team performance.
• Strong understanding of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt training methods to suit various learning styles.
• Results-oriented with a focus on achieving measurable sales targets.
• Leadership potential and willingness to take on a managerial role in the future.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in field sales and/or sales training.
